Scratch Online Safety Rules

Scratch is an online community. You can share your work with other people from all over the world and you can comment on their work, and they can comment on work that you share. It is very important to follow some simple online safety rules:

  1. I will tell my parents or teacher if I see anything that makes me feel uncomfortable.
  2. I will never give out my real name or other personal information, like where I live or what school I go to.
  3. If I get any messages that are mean or make me feel uncomfortable, I won’t respond.
  4. It’s not my fault if I get messages like that. If I do, I will tell my teacher or parents right away.
  5. I will always be kind to other people.
